International: Bank of China (Hong Kong) appointed as Common Depository, Common Service Provider and Common Safekeeper
Clearstream Banking1 informs clients that effective
immediately
Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOC HK) has been appointed by the ICSDs, Clearstream Banking S.A. and Euroclear Bank SA/NV as Common Depository (CD), Common Service Provider (CSP) and Common Safekeeper (CSK) to safekeep and service international securities issued in Classical Global Note (CGN) form and New Global Note (NGN) form.
BOC HK is expected to start its service operations on 1 August 2025.
The following table shows the roles allocated to BOC HK through its respective depository codes:
