Clearstream Banking1 informs clients about the launch of the Settlement Prediction Tool, effective
28 July 2025.
Clearstream Banking's Enhanced Settlement Prediction Tool enables users to track and optimise settlement instructions by providing insights into settlement probabilities and potential reasons for instruction failure. Leveraging artificial intelligence, the tool calculates the likelihood of timely settlement based on transaction specifics and historical data and can anticipate potentially failing transactions up to four business days in advance.
The tool, available via the Xact Web Portal, supports clients in their transition to T+1 settlement by delivering early insights into settlement probabilities, projected daily cash penalties, and root causes of instruction failures. By enabling proactive management of settlement instructions across CBL and CBF accounts, the tool helps clients:
- Prioritise actions on settlements with high potential penalties;
- Focus on the top three drivers of potential settlement failures;
- Leverage four-day-ahead predictions to manage instructions proactively;
- Optimise settlement processes across all Clearstream Banking accounts;
